Visitor locker room. It's the same room since the 1940s. Hearing the list of greats of both football and baseball that walked through these doors was my favorite part. The women's All American League played here during world war 2 as well.
We wanted a Chicago Dog for lunch and I found this little place online near Lincoln Park. It was so good!
Our last stop was Second City. It was just a few miles away and I had to see where all the greats in the comedy world started! There are several shows a week and it's still an improv school but it was pretty quiet that afternoon. The office staff was gracious to let us walk around and take pictures. They talked a little about the history of the place and I snapped a shot of the mainstage where Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Steve Carell and many others performed for years. The old pictures on the walls of Chris Farley, the Belushi brothers and tons of other alumni were cool to see. We left around 2pm for Mark and Hazel's in St. Louis. We had one last fun night of pizza, homemade ice cream and family!
