Last Monday was Parent/Teacher conference day at Ava's school so we had a twenty minute meeting with Ava's teacher then headed to Fort Worth to enjoy a fun fall day at the zoo. I love going to the zoo in the fall. I promised no camera and no pictures and the kids were SO EXCITED! I thought it would be fun to just enjoy life for the day without making them pose and say 'cheese' a thousand times. And it made for the best day and the best moods! Ava even asked me to take a picture of them on the turtle with my phone at the end of the day and that is rare. The animals were out and about like we had never seen. The lion was roaring, the black bear was pacing and there were two adorable baby elephants running around. It was such a great day!
The kids have begged to sleep in the same room for a while so about a month ago we decided to let them sleep in their sleeping bags in Keegan's room on Friday nights and it's been such a treat to them. We walk by the door and listen to them chat for a while before they go to sleep and it so precious and comical.
On Thursday we took Jessie and Buzz Lightyear trick or treating! We visited our friends on our street and headed over to Presley's house to go trick or treating. These cuties ran house to house and filled their pumpkins to the rim! It was a fun night!
Keegan was so excited to be Buzz....

Ava wore her costume to dance the day before and had so much fun playing games with her dressed-up friends :)
And now November is here! We are excited for the holidays!
