Today was a special day for our family as we dedicated Keegan before the Lord. Although called 'baby dedication', we've always been taught that it's more of a parent dedication....a vow to train, grow and instruct our children in the way of the Word.
We remind ourselves often that these children belong to Him. They are on loan to us and our most important mission in this life is to lead our kids to salvation..... to make sure they know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and walk in the Truth.
Today we are so grateful. We are grateful for our children, grateful for our extendend family of believers and grateful for our church home and its children's ministry.
Sweet Keegan, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
We will stumble and we will fail because we fall so short of the glory of God. But we will press on with His mercy and grace. And with His help we will lead you, love you and pray over you all the days of our lives.
